Hundreds of parents and their children turned out for www.playtodaydc.com’s public launch at Westwood Country Club on Feb. 4, a "Find the Fun Fair." Favorites activities, from inflatable bouncers to modified "t-ball," and business partners promoting their children’s offerings, ran from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Rowan comes back to area in March.
In a musical replete with flying cows, insults involving hamsters and flatulent Frenchmen, Arthur Rowan, 1997 graduate of James Madison High School in Vienna and former actor with the Reston Players, plays the straight man.
District Gymnastics Meet Approaching
With the Patriot District gymnastics meet scheduled for Feb. 2 at Lake Braddock, several teams participated in their final tune-up meet at West Potomac on Jan. 23.
