Halloween Parade is a Tradition in Vienna

This week, Vienna's Halloween Parade steps into the spotlight Wednesday, Oct. 29, at 7 p.m. on Maple Avenue.  The 2025 Halloween Parade Theme Is: Broadway on Maple.

This year's parade will follow a route mapped out by temporary metal fencing  on each side of Maple Avenue to ensure pedestrian and parade-goer safety. Parade participants will meet up at the United Bank, 374 Maple Ave., East and goodie bags will be handed out, starting at 7:15 p.m. 

The Grand Marshal this year is Eric Storck, who has worked with the Vienna Theatre Company and Theatre and Arts community in Vienna for over the past 30 years.

Road closures will start in town at 2 p.m. and go on until approximately 11 p.m. Accessible parking will be marked off for individuals with accessible tags or license plates on Church Street from Dominion Road to Mill Street (in front of the Freeman Store and Museum).
