Kate Hunt, Chris Hunt and Colin Hunt, 7, of Springfield, with their dog Hailey. Six-month-old Hailey was a present for Colin’s seventh birthday. “His first word was puppy or doggy,” said Chris, “ He always wanted one so we adopted Hailey one week ago.”
