The Vienna Personal History Writers’ Group celebrated its 30th anniversary on Oct.10, 2019 at the Ristorante Bonaroti in Vienna. Anne H. Radway Barber, co-coordinator, provided opening remarks. Guests included Mayor Laurie DiRocco and Ms. Kathy Blevins, Recreation Program Coordinator — Mature Adults for the Vienna Community Center. Mayor DiRocco and Ms. Blevins acknowledged the members’ accomplishments. Virginia Lapham provided the class history. The event culminated with readings from various members about what the group means to them.
